Du Pont Gardens of the Brandywine Valley is a beautiful new book that celebrates the du Pont family heritage of land stewardship and horticultural creativity. The book, due to be published in early fall, features five du Pont estates – Hagley Museum and Library, Nemours Estate, Mt. Cuba Center, Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library, and Longwood Gardens.

Join us to toast the new book, then enjoy a lively discussion about the du Pont gardens of the Brandywine Valley. Garden historian and writer Marta McDowell will share the stories and histories of the gardens while acclaimed photographer Larry Lederman will share his approach and experience photographing these beautiful gardens.

A selection of photos from the book will be on display. Additional bites and libations are available for purchase. General admission is included.
