Help repair the Quarry Garden bridge!

Built alongside the garden in the early 1960s, the Quarry Garden bridge is a favorite location outdoors at Winterthur. Thousands of visitors walk across the bridge each year to peer into the Quarry Garden’s vibrant floor of spring primroses and summer lobelias as well as enjoy a breathtaking view of the rolling hills of the Brandywine Valley. The path surface on the bridge has started to flake off in large patches. This leaves the underlying layers at risk for further damage and creates an uneven surface for the many visitors who walk the path. Plans are in place to repair the path surface, but we need your help – donate today to support repairs!
